Dion's pathological speech problems

The Toronto Star recently called for Stéphane Dion to get "speech therapy" from a speech language pathologist because of his French accent when he speaks English. Apparently, Dion thinks this is a good idea.

Oh god. And there I thought the fact Chrétien was disfluent with odd accents in both languages would have been more annoying to people...

Interestingly, Chretien's speech was at least partly the result of pathology. Bell's palsy resulted in the partial paralysis of the left side of his face. Of course, his French accent was a much more significant issue.
