Down here in the States a book with basic information is a /prɪmɚ/. A /praɪmɚ/ is a first coat of paint. That might explain why the AHD, basically an USn dictionary, doesn't have the /praɪmɚ/ pronunciation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
